Blue Chip Beau/Beau

Blue Chip Beau/Beau is a 1998, 16hh, AQHA registered, Palomino Stallion. Due to the owner's declining health, she asked a close friend to find Beau a new home. Since the friend is not familiar with Beau, information is limited but we are seeking other avenues. Beau lived with a mare until she died 5 years ago and has been alone ever since. Beau is handled (minimally) when the neighbor comes to give Beau his grain, check water level and put out hay. The owner’s grandson grew up with Beau so, in his younger years, he was great with kids. Beau hasn’t been ridden in at least 10 years. Hard to say if he could be ridden. He would make a stunning pasture pet, especially once the burrs are gone. Beau did nip when asked to lift his FL foot. He didn’t bite but was giving a warning. He may be sore. Beau is approachable and the owner's friend is working on removing the burrs. Hopefully his mane/tail will not need to be cut. As we know more, we will share that information. Beau is lonely and living in Ellendale, MN. Can you open your heart and home for this beautiful boy?!?!
